Teen queen Nicole Vaidisova of the Czech Republic and Andy Roddick of the United States headline next week's Regions Morgan Keegan and Cellular South Cup. The indoor hardcourt combined ATP Tour and WTA Tour event starts February 17th with qualifying matches through the 19th. The main draw matches are to be played February 20-26.

Returning this year to Memphis is men's defending champion Kenneth Carlson of Denmark. Tommy Haas, James Blake, Ivo Karovic, Andy Murry and Tommy Robredo are among the other well-known ATP players entered into the men's main draw. Mardy Fish of the USA and Mark Philippoussis of Australia both were awarded main draw wildcards.

Women's defending champion Vera Zvonareva of Russia is absent this year from the women's tournament. However Veteran Americans Amy Frazier and Lisa Raymond and their younger American counterparts Ashley Harkelroad and Jamea Jackson are entered in the women's draw. Michaella Krajicek, sister of former Wimbledon champion Richard Krajicek is another notible young women's entry.

Tournament Director, Mac Winker, is excited with this year’s line-up of players. “We have a new and upcoming superstar in Nicole Vaidisova, much like we did last year with Maria Sharapova."

The Memphis tournament is the only professional tennis tournament in the world to be held in a private club featuring the world's top men's and women's players.
