Quaterfinal Day At The French Open Heats Up, French Open
Three time defending champion Rafael Nadal
PARIS, France (—Tuesday at the French Open in quarterfinal play, the second and third seeds of both the men's and women's fields are in action as (2)Ana Ivanovic of Serbia, (2)Rafael Nadal of Spain, (3)Novak Djokovic of Serbia and (3)Jelena Jankovic of Serbia all take to the courts today.

And it looks to be a great day for Serbia as all three Serbian players should roll to impressive wins on their way towards the semifinals.

Rafael Nadal of Spain won the singles title in 2005, 2006, and 2007.

Patty Schnyder (SUI)[10] v. Ana Ivanovic (SRB)[2]
Schnyder is a crafty lefty who's been around for some time, but Ivanovic should shut her down.
Winner: Ivanovic

Nicolas Almagro (ESP)[19] v. Rafael Nadal (ESP)[2]
Nadal faces another countryman and the result should be the same.
Winner: Nadal

Ernests Gulbis (LAT) v. Novak Djokovic (SRB)[3]
Australian Open champion Djokovic is the only person left who can win the almost impossible Grand Slam which is all four majors in one calendar year. He could do it with a win here in Paris should Nadal slump, but he would face much tougher odds at Wimbledon and at the US Open.
Winner: Djokovic

Carla Suarez Navarro (ESP) v. Jelena Jankovic (SRB)[3]
Jankovic scored a major win after Venus and Serena Williams both lost last week as her section of the draw became easier as if she needed it.
Winner: Jankovic

Svetlana Kuznetsova (RUS)[4] v. Victoria Azarenka (BLR)[16]
In a match to be finished from Monday, Kuznetsova should close Azarenka out in straight sets.
Winner: Kuznetsova
